Why Trump’s Impeachment & Removal From Office Is Very Real

After recent developments in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) case involving longtime Trump attorney Michael Cohen, the mainstream media is rife with stories about how the fallout from the Cohen case could expose Trump to criminal liability and possible impeachment proceedings

Almost all the reporting from the mainstream media seems to indicate that by directing Michael Cohen to pay hush money to adult film star Stephanie Clifford(aka Stormy Daniels) and Playboy model Karen McDougal, Trump’s only criminal liability is felony campaign law violation. This idea that Trump is only looking at campaign law violations in regards to Michael Cohen has become so prevalent that the usual Trump defenders have already crafted a defense for him–the “intent” defense.

Trump’s defenders are already out there making the argument, a very credible one, that in order to convict on a campaign law violation, the prosecution will have to prove intent–in this case, that Trump ordered Cohen to make the hush payments for campaign purposes. Trump’s lawyers will obviously counter that he ordered the payments to shield his family, especially his wife Melania from embarrassment–a very good defense, albeit untrue.

Remember in criminal cases in order to obtain a conviction, the prosecution has to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. Here any reasonable person would agree that Trump’s lawyers can create enough reasonable doubt as to his intent in ordering the hush payments, to beat the case. This is precisely why Trump loyalists are already downplaying his potential campaign law violations.

What is shockingly left out of the mainstream media coverage however, that should greatly worry Trump loyalists is the fact that in regards to Michael Cohen, campaign law violations are Trump’s least problems. Trump’s real criminal liability in regards to Michael Cohen come in the form of bank fraud, money laundering and wire fraud–all very serious felonies which if New York prosecutors can present evidence of, will almost certainly lead to his impeachment and removal from office. You don’t have to take Yours Truly’s word for it, just listen to what former FBI Assistant Director for Counter Intelligence Frank Figluzzi said on MSNBC’s Deadline White House show. The full Deadline White House segment is available here but the relevant clip is below.

Figliuzzi told Deadline White House host Nicolle Wallace; “…He[Trump] was directing this activity allegedly and the activity is far more Nicolle than simply trying to keep women quiet that you had an affair with. We are talking about directing things like bank fraud, money laundering, wire fraud……” Folks, if the Southern District of New York prosecutors can present evidence that Trump either did or directed Cohen to commit bank fraud, money laundering or wire fraud, serious felonies often associated with organized crime, you can rest assured that GOP Senators Collins, Rubio, Sasse, Murkowski and others will join the Democrats in removing him from office. Given the fact that Cohen has been cooperating, there’s a very good chance that SDNY prosecutors already have evidence of bank fraud, money laundering and wire fraud.

Bottom line folks, contrary to the characterizations you are hearing from the mainstream media, this Michael Cohen story is deadly serious and is about much more than campaign finance violations. Trump faces a very real possibility of impeachment and removal from office because of potential bank fraud, wire fraud and money laundering cases that can be made against him as a result of Michael Cohen’s cooperation with SDNY.

$26 Million Of Trump’s Inaugural Funds Was Paid To Melania’s Friend

Stephanie Wolkoff & Melania Trump

A recent plea deal by a GOP operative Sam Patten in the ongoing TrumpRussia investigation has brought renewed attention to the very questionable funds that flowed into Trump’s inauguration–a reported $107 million. Yours Truly recently wrote about this.

What Yours Truly failed to point out and has been brought to his attention is that part of these mysterious inauguration funds– a cool $26 million–
went to a firm belonging to Melania Trump’s friend Stephanie Wolkoff for “event planning”.

At the time of the $26 million payment, Stephanie Wolkoff was a Senior Adviser to First Lady Melania Trump, which by itself raises a whole host of ethical questions which you would think would attract a lot of mainstream media attention. Strangely it hasn’t.

Bottom line as we dig deeper into the mysterious $107 million that was pumped into Trump’s inauguration, we must also get to the bottom of the $26 million that was paid to Melania’s friend for “event planning”. This is such an exhorbitant expense that it fits the pattern often witnessed in money laundering cases.

It cannot also be left unsaid that the same mainstream media which hounded Hillary Clinton over the whitewater land deal is yet to ask Melania a single question about this mysterious $26 million that her friend got for “event planning”—the hapless MSM indeed!!

Signs Of Russian Money Laundering In Trump’s Inauguration

An interesting Rachel Maddow segment points out that a guilty plea by GOP Lobbyist Samuel Patten in the ongoing TrumpRussia investigation raises new troubling questions about the mysterious money flow surrounding Trump’s 2017 inauguration.

Maddow has previously reported extensively on the strange money flow surrounding Trump’s inauguration but the latest guilty plea by the said GOP operative provides specific details that take allegations of Russian money laundering at Trump’s inauguration way beyond the speculative level. As a matter of fact, details of Patten’s plea deal speak to a slam-dunk Russian money laundering scheme.

Here’s how the Russian money funneling scheme played out. GOP operative Sam Patten has a shell company in DC. Patten got a yet unnamed U.S. citizen to “donate” $50,000 to Trump’s inaugural committee. Patten’s shell company then reimbursed the unnamed U.S. citizen the $50,000. A Ukrainian with ties to a prominent Russian oligarch and who is also at the center of the ongoing Manafort case then reimbursed Sam Patten with a $50,000 drawn from a Cypriot bank. Cyprus is a well known haven of Russian money laundering meaning the said $50,000 that flowed into Trump’s inauguration could well have been laundered money.

There have been a lot of questions especially by Maddow about the whereabouts of the monies raised for Trump’s inauguration–an estimated $107 million. Maddow for example questioned why Trump’s inaugural committee never gave a detailed accounting of how the $107 million came in and what it was spent on–very odd.

With Sam Patten’s plea deal pointing heavily towards money laundering, expect Natasha Bertrand(Yours Truly’s MSM fave) and other journalists who’ve been excellent at TrumpRussia reporting to dig into Trump’s inaugural committee for answers to serious questions that still linger. For example How many other Patten-like “donations”  were made to Trump’s inauguration? Did this money find its way into GOP/RNC coffers–including to GOP members of congress? If so, did GOP/RNC know the source of the funds? As you can see there are numerous questions that need to be answered regarding the mysterious Trump inauguration funds.

Yours Truly recently wrote about how Trump’s GOP has degenerated into a criminal enterprise and stories like Sam Patten’s only work to support that argument. Bottom line Dems and the mainstream media must dig into this story to find out how much laundered Russian money has landed into GOP coffers.  Simply put House Speaker Paul Ryan, Senate Majority Mitch McConnell and GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel must be questioned about dirty Russian money flowing into GOP coffers.
