Dr Beatrice Golomb, Founder of the Golomb Research Group, and Professor of Medicine at UC San Diego.

While the investigation into who’s attacking our diplomats and causing Havana Syndrome is still ongoing, a different but related debate is playing out in American living rooms, and that is, what the federal government is doing to protect the general public from the health effects of exposure to radio frequency(RF) radiation, which includes microwaves.

A Havana Syndrome webinar conducted by the University of Texas Southwest(UTSW) in Dallas(02/10/2022) led to among other conclusions that (1) pulsed microwave radiation was the most likely cause for Havana Syndrome and (2) that microwave technology is already being used in the United States, Russia, China, and many of our Western allies for surveillance purposes. Therefore even setting aside the question as to who attacked our Diplomats in Havana and elsewhere, reasonable people will agree that there needs to be a serious debate regarding the effects these microwave technologies have on the general public.

An interesting and quite informative interview on Green Street Radio (03/01/22) featuring the esteemed Dr Beatrice Golomb, delved into that very topic–harmful effects of microwaves and other RF radiation. Dr Golomb is the Director of the Golomb Research Group. She is currently a Professor of medicine at UC San Diego. She received her B.S. in Physics Summa Cum Laude from USC. She worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as an Engineer, and then got her PhD in Biology and a medical degree from UC San Diego. She is an expert in among other things, the effects of exposure to radio frequency microwave radiation, which many experts have pinpointed as the most likely cause for Havana Syndrome.

Dr Golomb said in the Green Street Radio interview(video @ 17:00 onwards): “Radiation is often divided into two different types–ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation is the radiation in the higher end of the frequency range, from part the ultraviolet range up to things like x-rays and gamma rays. This is referred to as ionizing because higher frequencies are associated with higher energy, and when the energy is high enough, it is sufficient to dislodge electrons from atoms and molecules. This is referred to as ionization. So there is sort of a mantra that is incorrect, that it is only ionizing radiation that can cause damage, or only ionizing radiation that can cause DNA damage. In fact most of the evidence about the harms from ionizing radiation come not from the ionization, but actually from oxidative stress…In fact, oxidative stress also occurs with non-ionizing radiation. It occurs with radio frequency radiation which by the way encompasses a very broad set of frequencies, the upper end of which are called microwave radiation. So microwaves are a subset of radio waves…All of those frequencies are capable of causing damage by oxidative stress…The exposures that are tied to these non-ionizing radiation…are exposures that themselves promote oxidative stress…affect mitochondria[DNA]…There are now multiple studies showing that even though this radiation[microwave] is designated as non-ionizing radiation, it causes DNA injury…There’s basically a disinformation campaign that tells people that unless radiation is ionizing it can’t cause problems.”

There is no other way to interpret Dr Golomb’s remarks other than, the government’s stance that only ionizing radiation can cause harmful health effects is not entirely accurate. Dr Golomb is stating categorically that non-ionizing radiation, which includes RF microwaves, can also be very harmful to the public, and can even cause, in her words, “DNA injury”. According to Dr Golomb, the dispositive factor when it comes to evaluating the harm caused by radiation is not whether its ionizing or non-ionizing, but rather, whether it causes “oxidative stress”. Dr Golomb says both ionizing and non-ionizing radiation can lead to oxidative stress, meaning even RF microwaves are harmful to the public.

Dr Golomb goes as far as accusing the government of running a “disinformation campaign” when it says non-ionizing radiation like RF microwaves are not harmful. Back in 2015, she wrote a stern letter to the New York Times, castigating one of its journalists(George Johnson) for downplaying the health effects of EMF radiation in one of his articles. Folks, Dr Golomb isn’t fooling around–the real deal!!

There’s a growing sentiment in the country that given the rapid advancement in technologies, the federal government is not doing a good job in informing the public about the public health risks associated with such advancements. One classic example is the Havana Syndrome. In the course of looking for the culprits who attacked our diplomats in Cuba, we have discovered that microwaves are also used in the U.S., presumably by law enforcement, for surveillance purposes. Given Dr. Golomb’s educated assertion that microwave radiation can cause “DNA injury”, it’s not a lot to ask that the government levels with the public as to how these microwave surveillance technologies affect public health. In other words, if you expose a “dangerous subject” to very high levels of microwave radiation daily, for an extended period of time(months, even years), as part of his/her “necessary surveillance”, are you really surveilling the target or just irradiating them to death? Simply put, guardrails need to erected when it comes to the use of these microwave technologies.

On that front, it’s very encouraging to learn that the good folks at Green Street Radio, through their non-profit Americans for Responsible Technology(ART), have filed a petition with the FDA, demanding that the agency “immediately issue an ‘Imminent Hazard’ declaration regarding public exposure to radiofrequency radiation from wireless devices and infrastructure…” Hopefully this is the beginning of a movement by concerned citizens demanding more government accountability when it comes to new radiation technologies.

Bottom line folks, the government cannot/must not be allowed to continue hiding behind the “it’s classified” excuse when it comes to RF radiation technologies. The public has a right to know what they are being exposed to, and how such exposure affects their health. Congress needs to hold hearings regarding this issue, preferably with the esteemed Dr. Golomb as one of the subject matter experts.

Excellent UTSW Webinar On Havana Syndrome

$upport via Cash App

On 02/10/2022 the Department of Psychiatry and the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW-Dallas), hosted an excellent webinar on Havana Syndrome featuring some of the leading minds in Neurology and importantly, offering suggestions on the path forward for both government investigators, and affected families (victims).

The webinar titled “Havana Syndrome: Medical, Scientific, and Policy Perspectives”, featured this esteemed panel of subject matter experts.

Among the visiting speakers(not from UTSW) were Cipher CEO Suzanne Kelly, Fox News National Security Analyst Daniel Hoffman, Former CIA Officer and Havana Syndrome victim Marc Polymeropoulos, NPR National Security Correspondent Greg Myre, and of course, the star of the show, the undisputed MVP, Dr. James Giordano(Georgetown), who they saved for last. Dr. Giordano’s entire presentation is below.

The key takeaway from Dr Giordano’s presentation was this(video at 17:00): “What this thing allowed us to do is to examine in greater detail, the technological readiness level(TRL),of forms of energy that could be directed in ways that would be scalable, fieldable, and therefore operationalizable. Now again, please understand that there is information that simply cannot be discussed in an open forum such as this, some of it exists as confidential and classified…but suffice it to say that information both at the time(2016, 2017, and part of 2018), and subsequently 2018 and 2019…reveal that there are two primary domains of directable energy that represented not only state of the science and technology, but were at a point of technological readiness that would allow or enable possible deployability and operational use. The idea of utilizing accoustic rangeable devices in the high sonic and/or ultrasonic range, very possible, very probable. The possibility of also utilizing some form of microwave energy particularly low to moderate gigawatt microwave energy that could be generated using very very rapid pulsing, perhaps utilizing a light source or laser source to be able to develop nanosecond or perhaps even quicker pulsing, would allow the scalability, the fieldability, and the containability of microwaves, and also get by some of the power source requirements that might be necessary. Why would such devices be in operation?…These types of devices can be used for surveillance, and/or they can be used either kinetically or non-kinetically, for disruptive effects. What do we mean by that[disruptive effects]? What we mean, is that there are a number of nations worldwide that have dedicated effort to employing these devices for testing organic and inorganic substances primarily in the occupational and commercial range…They[nations]include United States and many of its allies, China, Russia, among others. So the technology exists. We know the technology is being employed at least in part for the evaluation of vulnerability and volatility for organic and inorganic substances.”

A layman’s understanding of Dr. Giordano’s scientific analysis boils down to this(feel free to offer corrections/more insight): That microwaves and sound (accoustics) are the two forms of energy that scientists agree, could be harnessed, scaled and deployed to effect the kind of attacks experienced by U.S. Embassy staff in Havana, Cuba. Scientists also agree that this kind of technology(sound and microwave directed energy) is readily available in the U.S.(and its Western allies), China, and Russia, and is currently used for surveillance and other industrial applications(testing the vulnerability of organic and inorganic substances). This scientific analysis by Dr. Giordano is very important because to this day, mainstream media reports have characterized Havana Syndrome as being caused by some hostile foreign power(prime suspect Russia), using some mysterious technology that nobody in the U.S. knows about. Clearly, per Dr. Giordano’s analysis, this technology is already being used in the United States for surveillance and other industrial applications, meaning part of the inquiry into the causes of Havana Syndrome going forward, has to look inward, as opposed to only pointing the finger at Russia and China.

The webinar also featured a joint discussion by Cipher CEO Suzanne Kelly and Fox News National Security Analyst Daniel Hoffman, which focused squarely on the national security implications of Havana Syndrome, as opposed to the other panelists who delved into the clinical aspects. Even though this was an interesting discussion, it totally sidestepped the million dollar question which many attendees, including Yours Truly tuned in for, and that is, Havana Syndrome among regular civilians(not government employees).

Interestingly, the million dollar question found it’s way into the webinar at the very end(after Dr. Giordano’s presentation), as the panelists were entertaining written questions from attendees. One of the questions directed at Dr. Giordano asked what regular civilians(ding ding ding–magic word) who suspect they are victims of similar directed energy attacks, should do?(see video below @ 1:50) Dr. Giordano’s answer was very interesting. He said regular civilians should first consult their attending physicians with their concerns, and upon a traumatic brain injury(TBI) diagnosis, have their attending physician refer them to Walter Reed for further analysis. It has to be a physician’s referral–none of that self-diagnosis stuff. A question as to whether there’s any evidence of regular civilians being victims of directed energy attacks came up at the 18:45 mark, and Dr. Giordano answered in the affirmative, saying yes, there is evidence both in Europe and domestically. WHOA!!

Hopefully Dr. Giordano’s suggestion for regular civilians suffering from directed energy attacks will encourage them to seek the much needed medical attention, and crucially, provide enough leads for scientists and government investigators, to get to the bottom of the Havana Syndrome mystery. Hopefully , it also opens up debate about the plight of regular civilians vis a vis directed energy weapons in the mainstream media, and in the halls of Congress where strangely, this remains a taboo topic, as exhibited by the tweet below.

**post updated 05/11/222 to include a recent study by Texas A&M which also concluded that pulsed high peak power microwaves can cause traumatic brain injury. Below is a major takeaway from the study

“While the peak power densities used within this simulation study are large, they are achievable with known microwave hardware. For example, to produce a power density of 1 Ă— 106 mW/cm2 at 25 m away from a 40-dBi antenna, a microwave source would require approximately 8 MW of power per pulse. This is within the capabilities of some commercial and military systems, and we therefore consider this as a relevant approximation for the simulations here. However, we also consider some more extreme conditions in the final analysis summary for scaling purposes against known mechanical TBI thresholds.”

Same Mainstrean Media That Gave Us Trump Is About To Give GOP A Midterms 2018 Win

After the 2016 elections exposed how vulnerable our election systems were to cyberattacks, New Jersey, like many other U.S. states began mulling ways to improve the security of its election infrastructure. While still mulling what changes to make to their election systems, the Center for American Progress dropped a bombshell on the Garden state, giving it a lowly D-grade for its voting machine security.

Stung by the embarrassing D-grade evaluation, NJ state lawmakers felt compelled to do something, and they have. A new NJ bill A3991, the "New Jersey Secure Elections Act" seeks to do just that, replace the state's paperless voting system with one that leaves an auditable paper trail

As shocking as it sounds, even after Russian meddling in 2016, many states especially where the GOP controls the legislature still use electronic voting machines that cannot be credibly audited in case of disputed results. Texas is one such example.

While NJ should be commended for taking a concrete step forward in securing the vote, it is the shocking testimony of one of the state's leading Computer Scientists, Professor Andrew Appel that has caught Yours Truly's attention and should catch yours too.

In his testimony about voting machine security, Princeton University Computer Science Professor said paperless electronic voting machines are "fatally flawed technology." Turns out Professor Appel is so sure about his assertion he has even demonstrated how to hack a New Jersey voting machine.

Now if these were conclusory allegations by some random loud mouth in #TheResistance the lack of coverage by the Mainstream Media would be understandable. However given that this bombshell assertion is being made by a highly respected Ivy League scholar(Princeton is Super Ivy League) the lack of coverage by the Mainstream Media has to be called into question.

How can the world's leading democracy be conducting elections using "fatally flawed" voting machines and the Media remain relatively silent about it? To its credit Fox News did do a segment on Professor Appel. That however is not nearly enough Media coverage for such a consequential story--especially in an election year.

A charge has been levelled, and Yours Truly concurs, that it is the Mainstream Media that gave us Trump. If the same Mainstream Media cannot find a way to have this Ivy League professor explain his bombshell assertion to the public, a second charge could be levelled that the Mainstream Media is helping Trump's GOP steal Midterms 2018

There's absolutely no excuse as to why CNN or MSNBC cannot interview this esteemed Computer Scientist--none!!
